Calm & Wellbeing Collection

Keepsake coins with a kind word on the front and a textured pattern on the back, made to be held, turned over and traced with a thumb. For children and grown-ups, at school, at work and on the big days in between.

“I made the backs of these for thumbs, not eyes. Run yours round the spiral once and you’ll see what I mean.”Frank Sterling, Master Craftsman

A back made to be felt

Every coin in this collection has a raised, tactile pattern on the back: spirals, waves, pebbles, tree rings and star bursts. Trace the spiral slowly as a reminder to breathe. Count the dots. Turn it over and over in a pocket. They’re popular with children who like something to fidget with, and with grown-ups who want something small and quiet to reach for.

Show-me coins for the classroom

I Need a Break and I Need Help say it for you. A child can hold one up or hand it to a teacher when the words are hard to find, and the message is delivered. Teachers use them in SEN classrooms, and parents tuck them into book bags for first days at school.

For exams, changes and busy days

A new school, a new job, a house move or exam season. I Can Do This goes in a pencil case. Stay Grounded, Focus and Breathe go in a jacket pocket for the commute, the interview or the long day. You Are Enough is for giving to someone who needs to hear it.

Questions

What exactly is it?

A 40 mm keepsake coin, printed in full colour on both sides with a raised finish you can feel, and framed by a thin metal rim. You choose a gold, silver or rose-gold colour finish. It isn’t precious metal or legal tender. It’s a keepsake, and people use them as a reminder, a conversation starter or simply something to hold.

How much is it, and how soon will it arrive?

Every coin in this collection is a Signature coin at £19.99, dispatched the next working day if you order before 2pm, by Royal Mail tracked delivery.

Which coins are best for children, and which for adults?

Can I add a name?

These designs are ready-made. If you’d like a name on a coin, our Personalised coins are £29.99 with a gift box, and we email you a proof before anything is printed.
